This website is about the Diet Wiegman and his realistic ceramic sculptures. He made realistic rusted cans and military bags from clay. For example the rusting of a can looks so real, you think it will rust away but infact the decaing of this can is stopped. You can see how a work would look decades into the future, Wiegman stretched its life out over centuries.

Art Gallery Voûte in Schiedam, the Netherlands, is proud to expose his ceramic artworks and also his light sculptures. Diet works in a multitude of disciplines.

In 2008 'Anagram' was released, an award-winning documentary by director Mike Redman that highlights Wiegman's work and vision. Because Diet Wiegman rarely speaks about his own art, it is a documentary without words that tells its own expressive story through Wiegman’s art.
